THE WORST FLOODING in Alberta’s recorded history brought devastation to the region this past summer with estimated losses of $5 billion (Canadian) and more than 100,000 people displaced. Boilermaker members from Local D331 (Exshaw) and Local 146 (Edmonton) have suffered substantial damages to their homes, automobiles, and other property. Some still cannot return to their homes.
L-D331 has set up a relief fund to help their members, and the International disaster fund has contributed $10,000 in assistance.
