Boilermakers have helped to power, build and transport the U.S. and Canada for over 100 years. As we look toward the future, the union is always seeking skilled and dedicated men and women to learn the Boilermaker craft through our apprenticeship training.
We instruct new Boilermakers through our comprehensive apprenticeship program. The union takes great pride in its extensive training for apprentices as well as continuing training for qualified journeymen. Skills apprentices learn include:

The union’s four-year apprenticeship program is “earn while you learn” training. Those who qualify for the training are quickly on their way to a satisfying career earning top wages in the building trades.
