Joint Statement from the United Association of Union Plumbers and Pipefitters (UA) General President Mark McManus and International Brotherhood of Boilermakers (IBB) International President Warren Fairley

“Earlier this week, our two unions signed an agreement to reinstate and restore INFO 67, an agreement governing the relationship between the IBB and the UA. For more than 100 years, our two great unions worked together to serve our membership and to supply our signatory contractors with the quality skilled manpower needed to meet the workforce demands of the day. This relationship was strengthened with the 1941 Articles of Agreement and INFO 67, signed in August of 1967.

“We are proud to restore INFO 67 in full and to reinstate our productive working relationship for the good of our two nations. Despite our past disagreements, this new chapter will ensure that our unions continue to lead the way forward building and maintaining critical infrastructure across North America. We will return to our proud shared history of working together across crafts to avoid and resolve future disputes and to promote labor peace and stability on job sites. We look forward to continuing our working relationship for generations to come and to building an even stronger partnership than ever before.”
