BREAKING: Boilermakers announce leadership changes

Kansas City, Mo. (August 20, 2024) — Today, August 20, 2024, International President Warren Fairley announced that he is retiring, effective immediately, and his retirement was accepted by the International Executive Council. 

The IEC thanks Brother Fairley for stepping in to serve the Brotherhood and helping us move in a new direction. The IEC wishes Brother Fairley the best in his retirement after many years of service to the Brotherhood. 

Pursuant to Article 4.5 of the Constitution of the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers, the IEC elected Brother Tim Simmons to serve as International President until the next International Brotherhood Convention. The IEC then elected Brother Jeff Campbell to serve as International Vice President of the Southeast Area. 

The IEC welcomes Brother Simmons as International President and Brother Campbell as its International Vice President for the Southeast Area.
