Davis family takes pride in Boilermaker heritage
THE DAVIS FAMILY is proud to carry the title “Boilermaker” for generation after generation. My grandfather, Ernie L. Davis, was a member of Local 40 (Elizabethtown, Ky.). His son, Larry G. Davis Sr., was a member of Local 26 (Savannah, Ga.), and five of his six children are Boilermakers: Mark A. Davis, Local 107 (Milwaukee, Wis.); Larry G. Davis Jr., Local 26; Jeffrey L. Davis, Local 26; Kathleen Davis Raynor, Local 455 (Sheffield, Ala.); and Loretta G. Hellenguard, Local 11 (Helena, Mont.). My father also has three grandchildren who are apprentice Boilermakers.
We have uncles and cousins who are Boilermakers as well.

L-28 BM-ST thanks Flynn for service
I would like to express my gratitude to Robert W. Flynn Sr. for his dedication to Boilermakers Local 28 [Newark, N.J.] and all its members. Bob retired the end of May after 28 years of service as recording secretary.
I’m pretty sure that he has worked at every Boilermaker discipline. He has also been a foreman, general foreman, and shop steward. Bob was appointed as an assistant business agent in 2001 and served in that position with three business managers. I believe that he long ago earned the respect of his union brothers and sisters, along with the contractors and clients. I am honored to have worked with a man like Robert W. Flynn Sr. My words cannot do him justice.
