Union workers at Ingalls Shipyard in Pascagoula, Mississippi, voted to approve a new collective bargaining agreement, marking the first full contract negotiation between the parties in nearly two decades. The new contract, covering around 6,000 workers, includes what the company calls its largest wage increase ever, featuring an immediate 18% base pay raise, annual 3% increases through 2029, and a 5% raise in 2030, along with up to an additional 10% for designated “critical craft” positions, including Boilermakers.
