Benefit for family Jan. 19
The family of Justin Lee Haase would like to thank everyone who contributed to my son's memorial fund at Eagle State Bank, Eagle, Neb. I can't tell you how thankful we are for your kindness. Justin was only 10 hours from getting his life insurance and benefits when he was killed in an auto accident Nov. 30 while returning from a welding test (which was flawless).
Justin was a member of Local #83. He worked for Nebraska Boiler in Lincoln, for a year. In August 2007, he went into the field to make more money for his family.
Justin was just 22 years old and leaves behind a daughter, Maddi, 4. The Boilermaker family is very kind and we appreciate your thoughtfulness during this very sad time in my family.
I am thankful for any of you who got to know my son and his sense of humor.
If anyone has stories of his friendship they would like to share, please send them to me at: rmlapage@yahoo.com. I am putting together a memory box for his daughter and would appreciate any input for her.
A benefit is planned for January 19 at the Waverly Community Building in Waverly, Nebraska, for Justin's family to help with funeral and other expenses. There will be a free-will donation soup supper, a silent auction, and a DJ for the night. It is from 5-9 pm. If anyone would like to donate items for the silent auction or monies to the family, they can contact me at rmlapage@yahoo.com or send them to:
