D500 members go to bat for little league team

LOCAL D500 (Rogers City, Michigan) Boilermakers scored union pride and community spirit by sponsoring a boys’ Little League baseball team for the 2018 season. Several members of the team — which is named the “Local D-500s” — are sons of lodge members. Pictured with the team at its end-of-the-season celebration are members, back row center, l. to r., Matt Augsburger, Aaron Brege and Andrew Wirgau. Members of the lodge work for Carmeuse Lime and Stone Calcite Quarry in Rogers City, Michigan.
