Six retirees from Local 105 (Chillicothe, Ohio) recently spent a day volunteering at the VA Cincinnati Healthcare System. For years, this dedicated group has donated their time to serve coffee and donuts to veterans who are patients at the hospital or are there receiving care.
“Their dedication to helping others is a reflection of the unity, brotherhood and community service that define our union,” says Joseph Ledford, L-105 Business Manager/Secretary-Treasurer.
These small acts of service offer a great way for lodges to give back to their communities.
