To commemorate LEAP’s 50th anniversary and thank the Boilermakers Government Affairs Department, Local 13 (Philadelphia) presented Cecile Conroy, Director of Government Affairs, with a special Liberty Bell award during a morning delegate session. In addition to preparing and conducting the annual LEAP Conference, the Government Affairs team stays on top of legislative issues that might impact Boilermakers, prepares materials to assist Boilermaker delegates with lobbying, and coordinates political action activities.
