Political friend, former congressman John Dingell dies at 92

THE INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD OF Boilermakers mourns the loss of former Rep. John Dingell (D-Michigan 12th), who passed away Feb. 7. Dingell, who was the longest serving member of the United States Congress, was often a political ally to the Boilermakers union. He served on the Energy and Commerce Committee, which he chaired for 15 years, and was known as a champion for working people.
