Defendants in Jones case found guilty on most charges

Boilermakers union issues statement of support for verdict

Kansas City, Mo. (June 5, 2026) — The International Brotherhood of Boilermakers issues the following statement upon the recent verdict regarding the United States v. Jones et al:  

The International Brotherhood of Boilermakers supports the verdict of the jury. We have cooperated with the government in bringing these matters to trial and pursuing those who wronged the members of our union. 

The Executive Council has implemented significant changes in its structure and governance to ensure events of this nature will never occur again.

 The judge has scheduled sentencing to take place Sept. 1, 2026.
