Because of the urgency of ensuring a favorable outcome in the 2008 election, the Boilermakers Department of Government Affairs is offering training for local lodges in how to communicate, educate, and mobilize members. Participants will learn strategies for building a network and communicating effectively with members. They will learn how to use Web-based tools to promote voter registration, create worksite flyers, and update membership lists.
U.S. local lodges may send participants to any of the training sessions listed below. Blocks of rooms have been reserved at the hotels indicated.
