Edwin Allen

Edwin Allen is a Southeast Organizer through the M.O.R.E. Work Investment Fund.

Allen spent 16 years at CEMEX where he gained technical expertise and problem-solving skills as a journeyman electrical repairman. He brings more than 20 years of hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, and he attended Georgia Military College.

At CEMEX, Allen became a member of Boilermakers Local D23. As a union member, he contributed to the Safety Committee and Training Committee, training and educating employees on proper job performance and workplace safety. He served his local lodge as secretary-treasurer, managing finances and membership records with precision.

Allen is passionate about workers’ rights, and he has been instrumental in helping employees transition to union representation, strengthening workplace standards and advocating for fair treatment.
