Eduardo Gonzalez

Western States Organizer, M.O.R.E. Work Investment Fund

Eduardo Gonzalez is a Western States organizer and a second-generation union member with more than 20 years of union experience. Inspired by his father, a retired union member, he learned early on to rely on the strength of union solidarity to ensure fair treatment on the job.

For 10 years, Gonzalez served as a shop steward and business agent, advocating for workers’ rights and enforcing contract protections. Having personally experienced workplace injustice, he’s fought not only for himself but also for his coworkers, representing members in meetings with management and human resources and standing as a witness when their jobs were at risk. As a business agent, he participated in organizing events, helping workers understand the power and potential of union representation.

Today, Gonzalez serves as a Western States organizer with the Boilermakers and is a proud member of Local 92 (Los Angeles). As part of a dedicated organizing team, he works across multiple industries throughout the western United States and beyond, helping ensure workers’ federal rights are protected and that they have a fair chance to sustain middle-class livelihoods. He has helped organize more than 300 new members at Trojan Battery and NASSCO and continues to support several active campaigns. Gonzalez remains committed to growing union membership and empowering workers in the ongoing labor movement.
