Haggerty was appointed Director of National Construction Agreements for the Boilermakers union in 2006 by International President Newton B. Jones. He was elected to the NMAPC board of directors in 2009. In July 2011, he left the committee to assume his duties as a Boilermaker IVP.

Steve Lindauer, NMAPC CEO and Impartial Secretary-Treasurer, presented the award, joined by Bob Hoover, NMAPC’s management co-chair and Vice President of Kvaerner North America Construction, Inc., and Tony Jacobs, SAIP and the Boilermakers’ current Director of National Construction Agreements.

“Your friends and colleagues really wish you all the best and God’s speed,” said Lindauer. “I really appreciate all that you did for us.”
